"This is my wedding gift to you.This is “Revolving and Evolving” by Darren Byers.

When we visited Anne and Darren a couple of months ago, Darren talked about this project. I had been wondering what to get you – something meaningful and unique. This was perfect. Our relationship has revolved and evolved in the past, is doing this in our present, and will continue to do so in our future.

As this revolves and we are once again surprised and delighted by what we see, I hope that we will be surprised and delighted by what we discover in each other."

Thoughts of JOHN

This sculpture is all about the time that I spent working with John Hooper. It represents some of what I have taken away from that experience. Carved in the same style that John has used in some of his work, with a surprise for those who take the time to look around.

This is a small sculpture carved from butternut it is about 16" high. It was commissioned for Kim as a parting gift by her coworkers and friends. To view it from all sides click on the photo.
